Marti Parti

This weekend Marybeth and I went to a 21st birthday party for a friend of ours, Marti. We ventured to Chicago, or the Windy City as it is affectionately called, and boy, was it windy and coooold! But we did our best to look good and stay warm.

We got to hang out with some beautiful ladies that we don't normally see, as well as meet a whole crew of friendly and funny people. Most of the people here live and go to school in Chicago, the lucky bastards.

Bette and I were originally going to catch the 12:40am train back home, but it took us so long to take the train, walk the 7 blocks to the subway, ride the subway, and walk the 4 blocks to the apartment, that we were only going to be able to stay for an hour, before we had to make the trek back home. That was a real bummer, and the party was just picking up, so we decided to stay and hang out and parti. For Marti (who, by the way, we bought a travel game of Guess Who? and a set of sweet dinosaur tattoos for, the latter pictured below).

marybeth! whatever you do, do not turn around....
We stayed up super late and woke up kind of early to walk all those blocks back in our high heels. All in the name of fashion. Our feet killed, but we made a commitment to those shoes.

But overall, we had an awesome time, and I'm glad we stayed!

Bye!
Anna & Marybeth
