Start of wedding season!

I love weddings! We went to an amazing wedding last night at Stan Mansion in Chicago. The mansion was ridiculously gorgeous but nothing compared to the bride! I have to say that my favorite part about weddings is the dancing. The girls and I danced our asses off last night! hahah

I've been dying to wear this dress somewhere! I bought it in Chicago when I was there for my birthday.   I also eventually put on a a pearl necklace that I bought a Macy's. 

I painted my nails this cute coral pink which, funny enough, was a part of the color scheme for the wedding! Matching!

These have been my most have most wear gauges lately because I had a limited options.

But this past week a bought these 3 pairs of gauge converters on Etsy. I'm so happy because now I can put my old dangly earrings, that I couldn't wear anymore, on these babies and be all ready to go!

I finally got an iphone and instantly downloaded instagram! haha I've been taking so many pictures with it. I had packed a little hand bag to bring little supplies with me to the reception but totally forgot it at the hotel along with my phone. :/ So I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked but oh well. I've got a lot of mental images saved up here. haha Thank you, Mike and Victoria, for having us at your wedding and congratulations again!

Easter! (sort of)

Bright happy flowers, sunny belly rubs, and colorful chocolates! Easter 2012 was a great one! Although I awoke, from my night out with Kaley and friends, a littler earlier than I had expected, I had a great time over at the O'Neill's! Janine really outdid herself this year with the easter egg hunt. I swear I don't know how year after year she can still be so good at hiding eggs! We also got sweet gifts including outfits to wear on the cruise we're all going on in June, water proof wallets (amazing), a U.S. roads atlas, and much more including, of course, chocolate!! YUM! Then we all went out to brunch at Elgin Public House, a family favorite. But too soon I had to go to work. 

Still, I managed to get a "few" pictures. haha This is a dress I bought in Chicago at one of the thrift stores on Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park. The problem is I can't remember what the name of the store was. Ha. I'm bad with names. I just know it was $10 and that I had to have it.

I don't know if it's just something I'll get better at as the years go by but I don't know how anyone gets a blog post the day of whatever you take pictures of. haha I wanted to get this one done before too much time had past. Still I feel weird about having posts so close together. What else can I have left to say!? But I actually do have more. I had an accident a while back with my big toe and today I had to get half of it removed. :[ A very sad Marybeth sits here at this computer and weeps for her poor foot. No heels for me for a while. Life will be on such a short level from now on. haha Hopefully not too many people are grossed out about that one. ;]

Spring has sprung!

 Spring is here and it wants EVERYONE to know! Ya know what? I'm good with that. haha I'm LOVING this weather and all the freshness of the grass, trees, flowers! The colors! Oh my, the colors! I love Spring and it's 70's - 80's here so it's an amazing time to enjoy it! Check out my enjoying-spring dance. :]

This dress I found in Anna's closet. One of the many items that didn't make it to Korea with her. Her loss! And I made some adjustments to it as well. It used to have sort of puffy long sleeves and earlier today I slowly undid the thread and liked what resulted in the end! I don't think she'll be too upset. I never saw her wear it and now it's a cute spring time dress for me to enjoy! :]

I kept my make up really natural today as well. I only had on mascara and some lip gloss that gave my lips a more reddish color that I really liked. ALSO! Guess who's 2nd birthday was on Sunday??! Happy birthday, little Storm! Can't believe she's two! I told her she has to start acting her age. No more chasing the cats or barking at other dogs, but so far she hasn't listened. Just like a 14 year-old (in dogs years) would act, so I guess she is acting her age! har har har

Ahh. Glimpse of Spring.

Today was an amazingly beautiful day! Sunday night it's snowing big huge flakes and today, tuesday, it's 60 degrees and windy as all hell! But I loved it. I was itching to get out of class today so I could take Storm for a walk and enjoy the weather before I had to go to work. This was my first attempt at a photo shoot without Anna or anyone! I liked what I got except for the arm shadows I was casting upon myself. haha But I'm okay with it for now. I also had the tripod for assistance which I kind of liked. I feel a little less awkward when it's just me and my camera. :]

Spring is on its way which means tax returns $$$, shopping <3<3<3, and more short skirts! That's all anyone wants, really. haha Actually, I could take some more bad weather. That'll help me concentrate on school more instead of wishing I was outside reading! I'm just trying to adjust to Mother Nature's crazy schedule!

What I'm mostmostmost excited about at the moment is that Spring brings the end of my last semester @ ECC, a new job career, and SPRING WEDDINGS! Two already upcoming on the calender. I. LOVE. WEDDINGS! I love LOVE! And I love sharing in the love of two people who are meant to be together. Plus, maybe, the dressing up, dancing, drinking, being obnoxious. hahaha!

I hope Anna's doing okay.. HAHA Just kidding! I know she is and I can't wait to visit her! I'm going to try to wait it out a bit though so I won't be missing her x10 worse after I get back... just x5. ;] LOVED those pictures though and our late night (for me) video/facebook chats. I love you, seeeester.
